Unix systems have had great choices in message forum software for
years, but until recently, ASP users have been limited to a small handful of quality
ASP message boards. Finally MegaBBS combines the powerful features of PHP boards, along
with the ease of programmability and installation of ASP! Although MegaBBS has only
been publicly released since late June 2002, it has already gained a great following of
other users and developers. Current uses of MegaBBS include corporate intranets,
commercial websites, personal use, and universities! It supports MS-Access and SQL Server
and can be setup and running in a matter of minutes.

MegaBBS comes in two licensing modes:
 Full license - $35.00 one time fee
This license will grant you permission to remove the "Powered by MegaBBS" and
copyright links at the bottom of the pages for one installation of MegaBBS. Additional features
will also be unlocked such as RSS feeds, post revisioning, an ActiveX based spellchecker (See client requirements).
All other license restrictions involving redistribution, etc, remain. Most importantly,
you will be helping to support
ongoing development!

You may use the free license version of the software in any organization, personal, business, or

Server Requirements:
+ Windows 2000/Windows XP Pro/Windows 2003, MDAC 2.6, 64MB RAM,
(.NET Framework for optional features)
Client Requirements:
+ Requires IE 4.0+, Netscape 6+, Opera or Mozilla.
+ ActiveX based spellchecker requires Internet Explorer on a Windows based machine capable of installing ActiveX controls. Feature availablility may be limited due to incompatable browsers.
