LICENSE AGREEMENT:
MegaBBS is copyrighted software which is currently distributed free of charge.
You are free to make any changes to the software that you want, for your own
personal use only, but you cannot re-distribute it under any circumstances.
Any derivative works (ports, extensive modifications, etc) are still derivative
works of the copyrighted software and are subject to the same restrictions.
MODs (modifications to the system) can be re-distributed, only with the intention
of a MOD being to add functionality to existing MegaBBS installations.
MODs may use portions of the MegaBBS API.
You may also release language packs and "skins" under this license provided that any copyright
notices remains intact
You may not remove any copyright notices from any pages. You may not reuse or redistribute any
files or material, including posting for download from your servers, or copying, in whole or in part,
portions of programming material for use in your own products.
Disclaimer of Warranty
The Software and all accompanying materials are provided on an "as is" basis, without warranty
of any kind, including without limitation any warranty as to the quality or performance of the
Software, or that it is free of defects or errors, or non-infringment. In no event will PD9 Software
be liable to the user for any lost profits or other incidental or consequential damages arising out
of the use or inability to use the PD9 Software material and software (including demos), even if PD9 Software
has been advised as to the possibility of such damages.
The license does not apply to the TinyMCE component available from tinymce.moxiecode.com,
nor the public domain 'Pure ASP upload' script, nor the Wintertree spellcheck components, and any other external components which
maintain copyrights their respective owners.
